All too often urban playgrounds are designed with concrete and tiles because it is durable, cheap and avoids so called play erosion. At Space for Play however we create resilient green spaces for play.
We design urban landscapes for play, combining the areas of differentiated playing with plants that are robust. Our designs also take into account the direct environment: indigenous planting, rainwater detention, biodiversity, cooling islands, urban agriculture.
